Crossbow is primarily applied being a weapon. Crossbow is generally confused with a bow. It is very much the same to a bow in operation, but both are various. The structure of a crossbow is like that of the small bow attached more than a smaller piece of wooden plank, constructed having a little lever mechanism to shoot smaller arrow like structures.

Crossbows are considered to become the inspiration for modern day guns. Guns operate in the related way as that of the cross bow. Bullets are used in place of bolts. The procedure of loading a gun with bullets and firing is very much the same in function as that of loading a bolt and shooting in the crossbow.
